Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) in Oklahoma

Real evaluation, appropriate labs, and evidence-based treatment for low testosterone — from a licensed Oklahoma physician you can talk to on video. No commuting to a specialty clinic. No pressure to sign up before you've been evaluated.

Signs of low testosterone (Low T)

Testosterone naturally declines with age, and low testosterone (sometimes called "Low T" or clinical hypogonadism) can produce a cluster of symptoms that meaningfully affect quality of life. Common signs include:

These symptoms can also be caused by other things — poor sleep, thyroid problems, depression, obesity, and other conditions can mimic low T. That's why proper evaluation matters. A responsible TRT program starts with confirming the diagnosis, not just handing out prescriptions.

How diagnosis actually works

Diagnosis of low testosterone requires both clinical symptoms and confirmed low lab values — typically two separate morning blood tests showing testosterone below the accepted threshold. That's the standard set by the medical community, and it's the standard we follow. If you're symptomatic but your labs come back normal, we'll talk honestly about other likely causes rather than starting a treatment that isn't indicated.

How our TRT program works

  1. Initial telemedicine consultation — review your symptoms, medical history, and goals.
  2. Lab work ordered — total and free testosterone, plus other relevant labs to evaluate for underlying causes. You can go to any lab near you.
  3. Results review & treatment plan — if TRT is appropriate, we'll walk through the options (typically injections, gels, or other formulations) and pick what fits your life.
  4. Prescription sent electronically to your preferred Oklahoma pharmacy or a specialty pharmacy as appropriate.
  5. Ongoing monitoring — periodic labs and follow-up visits to ensure your testosterone stays in a safe therapeutic range, PSA is monitored, and side effects are managed. This is a long-term partnership, not a one-time script.

Why telemedicine is a good fit for TRT

TRT is largely a matter of symptom review, lab interpretation, and dose adjustment — all of which can be handled effectively via video and messaging. Once you're established on therapy, follow-up visits are quick and convenient, without needing to take time off work for a check-in that could just as easily happen from your kitchen table. Federal telehealth rules permit prescribing testosterone (a Schedule III medication) via telemedicine when a valid physician-patient relationship is established and appropriate monitoring is in place.

Who TRT isn't right for

TRT isn't appropriate for every man with low energy, and a good physician tells you so honestly. It's generally not recommended for men with active prostate cancer, untreated severe sleep apnea, uncontrolled polycythemia (high red blood cell count), or men who are actively trying to father children in the near future (TRT suppresses natural sperm production). We'll screen for these during evaluation and be direct with you if TRT isn't the right path.
